About us

Audiovisual production excellence, taught by practitioners

We built updatifyx to share the practical knowledge that keeps television networks and live events running smoothly.

Film crew shooting with a cinema camera

Our story

From the studio floor to a UK-wide course

Our tutors have spent years in galleries, sound suites and outside broadcast units. We saw how often good crews lost time to unclear setups, so we turned our everyday methods into a structured course.

Today updatifyx covers broadcast studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting arrangements, sound engineering and the workflows that tie them together. Whether you are joining a regional newsroom or a national live event team, you will learn methods you can use on your next shift.

Our values

How we teach and work

  • Clarity first

Every lesson explains why a setup works, so you can adapt it to any studio or venue.

  • Production pace

We teach habits that keep a network day on time without cutting corners on quality.

  • Crew mindset

Broadcasts are team sport. Our exercises train clear talkback, handovers and shared standards.
